HTML5 templates - Site Music

You can upload music to your site via the Edit Site Settings and Music  tab > Edit Site Music area.

Music should only be uploaded in mp3 format. The system will then create a duplicate file in ogg format allowing music to be heard in all browsers. Uploaded files should not be more than 10MB.

Because converting mp3 to ogg may take some time, when uploading new files, do not leave this page until your newly uploaded files show in the "UPLOADED MUSIC" list.

TIP: If you are an iTunes or Zume user, your music files may be in MP4 format, which is NOT compatible. You can quickly and easily convert files using an online converter like http://media.io/

Portfoliositez does NOT condone using copyrighted music. Playing it on your site, should you be caught, is copyright infringement. Clients using music purchased from iTunes or other platforms do so at their own risk. If you do not want to take this risk, we recommend using http://www.bmi.com/ as your music source. BMI collects license fees on behalf of songwriters, composers and music publishers and distributes them as royalties to those members whose works have been performed. Annual License fees may vary.
