Flexsitez - How to Remove the Search box
Posted by - NA - on 21 June 2011 04:38 PM
If you do not want to have the Search box built into your FLEXSITEZ template to display, you can remove it with a small change to your Custom CSS

(Please NOTE that this applies ONLY to the FLEXSITEZ template, and NOT to the other Blog templates - to remove the Search box on an Annie, Andy, or Jasper blogsite, please review this article: http://www.portfoliositez.com/support/index.php?_m=knowledgebase&_a=viewarticle&kbarticleid=341)

To remove the search box from your Flexsitez template, you will want to navigate to your Advanced Settings menu (in wp-admin), and, in Custom CSS, about 2/3 of the way down, under "search form" you will see the following block of code:

#searchformholder {
width: 100%;
text-align: center;
padding-bottom: 50px;
margin-top: -10px;
display: block;
}

Change the block; to none;, and you will see this:

 #searchformholder {
width: 100%;
text-align: center;
padding-bottom: 50px;
margin-top: -10px;
display: none;
}

SAVE YOUR CHANGES, and you're done!
