Header Settings, Overview
Your Header Settings portion of the wp-admin > Flexsitez Themes menu contains three icons: Slideshow General Settings, Slideshow Image Uploads, and Logo Settings.
Here we will explore each area individually, and provide clarification about the different settings!
Slideshow General Settings:
When you enter this portion of the menu, you will see two buttons: SELECT SLIDESHOW LAYOUT, and CURRENT LAYOUT OPTIONS.
Both of these buttons will open a menu when clicked on!
Under SELECT SLIDESHOW LAYOUT, you will see the different options for your slideshow layout. There are 9 different layout options to choose from, all broken down and color coded, to help identify the different options.
PLEASE NOTE: When the header is changed, all images will need to be re-uploaded to reflect this change.
Under CURRENT LAYOUT OPTIONS, you will see the changeable Header Logo Panel Color, which can be set using the color picker, or by entering a six digit color code, as well as the adjustable Header Width and Header Height.
You will also see the Slideshow Animation Type, and the available choices, Vertical Slide Animation, Horizontal Slide Animation, Fade Animation, and No Animation.
Here is a brief explanation of each:
Vertical Slide Animation: This setting will make your slideshow images scroll from top to bottom within your header when transitioning.
Horizontal Slide Animation: This setting will make your slideshow images scroll from right to left within your header when transitioning.
Fade Animation: This setting will make your slideshow images fade from one to the next, within your header when transitioning.
No Animation: This setting will make your slideshow images simply change, from one to the next, within your header with no additional transition animation.
Finally, you will also see the Header Logo Image, where you may upload your own logo, which will display under the galleries (header), and menu!
Slideshow Image Uploads:
This portion of the wp-admin is where you will be able to upload the images that appear on your home page, and other non-gallery pages.
PLEASE NOTE: When you change your SLIDESHOW LAYOUT, or other theme options, you will need to re-upload the images here, as they will NOT adjust automatically!
