Flexsitez – Custom Menus

The Flexsitez template supports WordPress’ new Custom menus, which makes is very easy for you to create custom menus (many even), which you can rearrange, and change completely, whenever you feel the need! **NOTE: psitez-menu is the default main menu, if a custom menu is desired for the main menu, the psitez-menu MUST be removed.**

To get started, let’s review each separate section quickly:

Custom Links: These are simply external links to any site or page you would like to share with your visitors!

Posts: Each individual post you add to your blog is available to add to the menu here. The default will be set to Most Recent, however, you can also View All, or even Search for a particular one!

Pages: Like Posts, each individual page you add to your blog is available to add to the menu here. The default will be set to Most Recent, however, you can also View All, or even Search for a particular one!

Categories: Much like Posts and Pages, you also have the ability to add your Categories to the menu, if you would like to make the posts and pages related to that category easier to locate. For instance, if your business offers Senior, Family, and Wedding photography, and you add these categories to the menu, and sub sequentially add the different pages and posts associated with those parts of your business as submenu items, you can ensure that your visitors will find exactly what they are looking for!

NOTE: By submenu, we mean that you can establish one menu button, and then have others appear in a dropdown fashion.

This screenshot illustrates that Blog, would appear in the horizontal menu > About Flexsitez would appear as a dropdown under it > Sample Gallery would appear as a dropdown under About Flexsitez! The same would apply to the lower set of menu items!

Here is an EXCELLENT video tutorial available covering these menus as well!
