How to add, edit, or connect a Contact Page to ShootQ

Adding a Contact Page:

Your new Flexsitez template has an established Flexsitez Contact section at the bottom of your WordPress menu. This section is designed to work WITH a Contact Page, which you must establish, and add to your menu.

It is quite easy to create the Contact page :)

****IMPORTANT NOTE****

The Flexsitez template format is not designed to accommodate an image on the Contact page; and although you CAN use one, the addition of an image can cause unpredictable formatting.

If you choose to add an image, you really need to anticipate some experimentation being necessary.

From your WordPress dashboard, navigate to the far left, and expand your Pages menu. Click Add New.

On the screen that opens, you can customize your Contact Page by adding a message for your site visitors, uploading an image, setting up your keywords and meta tags (if desired), and, MOST IMPORTANTLY, changing the theme.

It is important to remember that the Contact Page is NO DIFFERENT from any other page on your site, until the THEME is set to CONTACT!

Once done here, you will have to SAVE your page changes, and then navigate to the Flexsitez menu at the bottom left of the WP admin, and then to the Flexsitez Contact menu.

On the following page, you will have an opportunity to edit and Update your Contact Form Information, and view your Current Form Fields (several of which will populate automatically)

You can also add as many new fields to your Contact Page as you would like, naming them whatever you wish, and determining which you would like to REQUIRE, and which you would not!

And, as you can see from the screenshot, you can also Integrate your contact page with your ShootQ account in the For ShootQ Users area!

This form can integrate into your ShootQ account. Emails will be sent directly to your email account as well as sent to ShootQ as a lead. To enable this option the following must be completed:

1. Enter your ShootQ API Key and Brand near the top of this page

2. Ensure the contact fields Names (you can Label them whatever you would like) are named appropriately. By default we have set the Names to what they need to be, but in case they have changed the names and requirements are below.

First Name -> Field Name must be 'contact-first_name'     ** required

First Name -> Field Name must be 'contact-last_name'     ** required

Phone -> Field Name must be 'contact-phone'

Email -> Field Name must be 'contact-email'     ** required

Event Type -> Field Name must be 'event-type'     ** required

Event Date -> Field Name must be 'event-date'

Message -> Field Name must be 'event-remarks'     ** required

Any other fields created will be sent as additional information.

Once you have customized the Contact Page and Flexsitez Contact area to your liking, you will need to ADD the page to the menu section via the Appearance > Menus section of the WordPress admin.

Under the Pages section, you should see your new contact page. Click the radio button for it, and then click Add to Menu. You will then see the page added to the menu :) Once you have arranged the menu to your liking, make sure you SAVE it, and you will immediately see the changes reflected on your front end!
