Running out of disk space email
Posted by Sarah on 26 April 2011 10:13 AM

If your template is hosted with us, you are allocated a specific amount of web space (depending on the service level and if extra hosting is ordered).  The cpanel gives the option to receive notifications if you are running low on space.  We do recommend that this option is checked so you can keep a close eye on the space available.  However, the email is automatically generated from the cpanel and is not something we can change.

This is an example of what the email could look like - "The account with the username 'username' (domainname), is running out of disk space. Please remove some files from this account, or ask the administrator to increase your disk quota. This account has used xxx.xx% (xxxx.xx Megs) of its allocated disk space. !! Do not respond to this message. Your reply will go nowhere. !!"

You can enable/disable these notifications in your cPanel by clicking the "Update Contact Info" icon located in the preferences section.  On that screen you will see the contact preferences section where you can enable/disable what account notifications are sent to you.
