Knowledgebase: OLDER templates
Direct Linking URLs
Posted by Sarah on 16 September 2010 03:18 PM

With the Generation II templates (Carl, Jackson, Elena, and Maya II), urls look a little different.  For example, it may say http://mydomain.com/site/about/about for a page called "About" under the "About" Menu.  All of the extra at the end of the url is the new linking is required to allow direct linking and so that google can crawl your content like an html site.

If you would like your about page to say something else besides http://mydomain.com/site/about/about like http://mydomain.com/site/about/bio  you would need to change your text page Title/Header to "bio".
