Knowledgebase: Troubleshooting
My images don't load, and sitezadmin icons are missing

This is usually caused by a third party line of code in your hosting accounts htaccess file - usually a line that looks like:

RewriteRule .*\.(jpg|jpeg|gif|png|bmp)$ - [F,NC]

For the images to work again the line of code should be removed. To remove it you would want to do the following:

1. log into your hosting account via ftp
2. go to the public_html folder and edit the .htaccess file (it can be edited in any text editor)
3. remove the line of code that looks like RewriteRule .*\.(jpg|jpeg|gif|png|bmp)$ - [F,NC] and save the file

We can also look for this line of code for you, just submit a ticket to and let us know that you can't access your sitezadmin icons or images and you think it is related the htaccess file. We will take over from there and remove the line of code that is most likely causing the issue. We do not know what software/plugin/third party script uses this line of code so you'll want to check any third party scripts/software to ensure they still work.
