My images appear blurry or are not as sharp or image colors appear differently once uploaded

This can happen for many reasons. The first thing to check is the color profile your images are using. More information on that can be found HERE

How the site works is if an image larger then the template images is uploaded a script written in PHP (the programming language) will re-size the image down and optimize it for the web. Depending on the complexity of the image this can cause the images to appear very slightly differently from Photoshop to the web. The best way around this is to pre-size the images to the correct size prior to uploading in Photoshop. If the image isn't looking sharp enough on your website you may want to use Photoshop's unsharp mask to sharpen the web sized versions prior to upload. You can find the exact sizes for the templates by clicking the little info icon on the top right of your sitezadmin.

You can also find links to all find links to all template info pages HERE

When you re-size your images down to web-sized versions we recommend saving them through Photoshop's 'save for web'. The DPI is NOT important for the web-save, the important part is the width and height in pixels (px).
