Sitezhosting25.com Migration

ETA for how long this will take but in the past these migrations are usually done over a span of 24 hours. We will update you as we

Hi Everyone!

It is time for us to upgrade the server you are on! In the next couple of days we will be working on migrating your services to a new server. Migrating means we are moving your accounts from one server to another.

Reasons for the migration:

1) Increased stability – no more short drops in your connection to the server

2) Better and faster server builds – as technology changes for computers so does it change for servers. Our new servers offer faster connections and better all around service.

How this will affect you:

1) There will not be downtime for your site. We will not be migrating accounts during high traffic times and your site will remain up on the current server while the domains propagate to the new server.

2) The IP address for your server will change. The IP change will change the temp link you were given in your welcome email, if it has a series of numbers in it, it will not work. To edit your site you should be using the following formats: http://www.yourdomainname.com/sitezadmin or http://www.sitezhosting25.com/~username/sitezadmin.

3) This IP address change will affect any third party programs you are using on our server, such as machforms or blogsites. If these stop working after the migration please make sure to contact us at support@portfoliositez.com and we will fix it for you. Please DO NOT attempt to fix it yourself as these changes can be difficult and often create larger issues if you do not know what you are doing.

4) ******DO NOT MAKE CHANGES TO YOUR SITE.****** If changes are made to your site during the migration they will not appear when the domains propagate to the new server and you will need to make those changes again.

We are finally migrating your server to the new one. There was a delay due to instability in the new server which has been resolved
now. We will update here when the migration has completed. Please do not make any changes to your site until you hear from us again.

This migration has been delayed until at least tomorrow. The server we are moving the accounts to has a disk error and we need to
make sure that has been repaired before transferring sites over. The final step in the repair should happen tonight and with any luck we
should have the migration started first thing tomorrow morning. Feel free to make any changes you need to your site at this time.
We will update here as soon as the migration has begun and when changes should stop being made. Thank you for your patience!

The migration has been completed! The host name IPs have been changed to point everyone's domain to the new server and we are
now just waiting for it to propagate. We normally see the propagation complete within 24 hours but our domain company quoted
48 hours.

if you need to make changes to your site you can use the hard coded links for the new server. The format is as follows:

http://209.188.85.174/~username/
http://209.188.85.174/~username/sitezadmin
https://209.188.85.174:2083 - for cpanel
http://209.188.85.174:2095 - for webmail

** your username is your CPANEL username

If you need help with your temp link email us at support@portfoliositez.com. If you check your site for the changes make sure
to use the first link and not your domain as they will not appear under your domain until the propagation is complete.

Please note that during the propagation it is best to check your email through webmail. If you need help with link and your login
please let us know.

A NOTE ABOUT EMAIL
Unfortunately all files are transferred at this point so the email received on the old server would not transfer over. There is a
propagation time of 48 hours, but for the most part it completes in under 24 so there shouldn't be too many emails that are
missed. You can check your webmail at both locations during the propagation to ensure you are seeing all your email. The two
webmail links are:

OLD SERVER: http:// 96.30.18.85:2095
NEW SERVER: http://209.188.85.174:2095

It appears some email security settings have changed between this new server and the old one. If your email is no longer
connecting through a third party email program such as Mac Mail or Outlook it could be due to this change. For the most part
updating your port AND/OR incoming and outgoing mail servers should fix the issue.

If you are getting an error the the incoming/outgoing server of mail.yourdomain.com isn't being found please try changing BOTH
the incoming and outgoing mail servers to host.sitezhosting1929.com. The outgoing port of 2525 no longer works, please use the
port settings below instead.

**** CHANGE youremail@yourdomain.com to your DOMAIN EMAIL, ie name@portfoliositez.com, and mail.yourdomain.com should
be changed to YOUR DOMAIN, ie mail.portfoliositez.com.

We do expect by Thursday, September 3rd, everyone will be done and set on the server. If you have anything missing from your account
please let us know as we can resync your account. The old server will be shut down on the 10th of September so make sure to check
and let us know before then.
