Each person in the group buy will receive their monthly/yearly service for either $14/mo (usually $16) or $140/yr (usually $160). Feel free to email us for more information :-)

Vendor Highlight: Simply Splash

We have been asked a lot about custom splash pages. Unfortunately, at this time, we are devoting all our time to ensure customers get the service they deserve and working on Frida so we are unable to do custom splash pages. This does not mean that you cannot use a custom splash page with your site - after all, it is your site and you should have it the way you want it :-) This is where Simply Splash (www.simplysplash.com) comes in. We have been very impressed with the splash pages Kim at Simply Splash has designed and recommend you look at her site if you are thinking of having a custom splash page. :-)

I just returned from a week in Mexico! Even without being able to enjoy kicking back with a couple drinks on the beach it was a lot of fun :-) The sunsets and sunrises were beautiful! Now back to work ;-)

This is our second sample site for Ansel. It is a premium version site which means in addition to all the usual features it also has unlimilted proofing galleries and unlimited video galleries. :-)

Ansel launching late this week

We were hoping to have Ansel completely debugged and ready for show later today, however there are a couple things preventing this. Unfortunately 'late this week' now really means late this week, as in late Sunday night.

We still anticipate having it ready for viewing late Sunday night. We have decided that we won't start setups for the site until Wed, that way our beta testers have some time to find any remaining bugs so we can setup as bug-free sites as possible. thanks for you understanding :-)

For the inconvenience of delaying the setups we would like to offer you your first month free. This offer will be good until Friday (Jan. 11th) and only for Ansel sites.

*Ansel will launch late this week.

***update - we have found all our beta testers - thanks for everyone who was interested! ***
We are currently looking for 2-3 beta testers for the Ansel template. We would have your site setup late Friday, and would request that you start playing around with the admin starting over the weekend. As a thank you you will receive your setup fee waived, first month free, and a premium service for the price of standard for as long as you have the Ansel template. :-) We expect to start setting up and taking orders for the Ansel site on Monday.

* the results are in and our fourth template to be built out is: FRIDA .

This template will have the shopping cart and full client system with mini sites for your clients. We are trying to keep as many of the features a secret as we can. We have some exciting features going in that no other template company offers. However, if you'd like a more detailed description of what our shopping cart and client system will have feel free to email jen@portfoliositez.com. There are 2 secret features that we are very excited about. However, to ensure they remain a secret, they will only be revealed when we launch Frida. :-)

* Our 2008 prices are now in effect. There was a $1.05/mo increase in monthly service and a $10/yr increase in our yearly. This affects new client only, and will not affect your cost if you ordered your site before these prices were in place. Current clients also do not need to worry about their monthly/yearly price going up when you choose to upgrade/switch templates. Your prices are locked for as long as you are a client. :-)

* P3 forums are now in place. Feel free to visit our forums to ask questions, leave critques, etc. We also will be offering freebies throughout the year on the forums such as backgrounds for your sites, splash page templates, and more!

* all sites ordered on the 30th or before have been setup and the welcome emails have been sent. If you have not received a welcome email and placed an order please email info@portfoliositez.com so we can resend it. We have had clients who have hotmail and yahoo email addresses inform us that they never received the welcome email, so if you have any doubt whether your site should be setup by now or not email us so we can let you know asap :-)



COMPANY CORNER:
Jamie and I are *very* excited about what 2008 has in store for us as well as our company. :-) We hope you had a wonderful Holiday and New Years! I know I had a blast and wanted to share some pics from this holiday season :) I, being 6 months pregnant, was unable to participate in a lot of the fun so I enjoyed taking pictures over the holiday. Jamie doesn't have any images to share at the moment, what is it with professional photographers not taking pictures on their off time? ;-) j/k!
