Doctor's Orders
I (Jen) just got back from the Doctor's office. Unfortunately I am just not recovering like I should be and my doctor told me that I must rest more, and cut down on work, to get back to good health. For the sake of Rusty and my own health I am going to have to cut down on the hours I spend programming over the next 3-4 weeks which affects the estimated Frida launch date. I am sick of missing my estimated timelines for Frida so I am now just going to say that I am working on it and when we have a solid launch date we will post it. Anyone who knows me knows I really hate missing deadlines so this isn't easy for me. I really appreciate your understanding in this matter.
As an apology we'd like to offer a free setup for any sites sold from Thurs April 10th thru the end of April. You can use the coupon code FRIDAAPLGY . This is not applicable on group buy purchases.
This was the first baby between Jamie and I so we underestimated how much time was required for recovery. We assure you, though, that we are very good at learning from our mistakes so our timing and build out schedules will be much better in the future. :-)

Get some rest Jen! Take care of that new precious little one! :)
Seriously, take the time to recover. It's not a race. Being a new mom is hard on so many levels. Good luck!
Agreed with all of the above. You need as much care as your new bub, and Frida ;)
As that old saying goes, you're nothing without your health!!!!
Take care of yourself. Your present sites are sensational and your service is and always will be fantastic.
Before you know it, little Rusty will be gumming your legs as you work :)
Take care and be well. That's the most important thing!
Make sure you get some rest! The sites you have now completely rock. Your customer service is beyond AWESOME! (Take that from a customer who came in after Rusty was born!)
Rusty & your health is what is most important!
Get some rest. You guys have done so much already. Enjoy your new baby.
I agree with everyone. Mother of 3.. I know how important it can be to get good rest after baby. Sleep when he does if you can. we can't miss what we don't have! So take it easy and get better. Your business ROCKS and we will continue to tell everyone we know about how great your templates and sites are!
Thanks again!!!
Get lots of rest!!!
as for Frida-- they say Good things come to those who wait.
;-)
Rest, rest, rest!!! In reply to your last post... babies get a natural hormone (can't remember the name) around 8 weeks that allows their body to adjust to day and night. It's different for each baby, though, so don't watch the calendar! Sleep when they do!
Don't feel guilty at all!! Your health is the most important thing (and your family). Rest, relax, and give that little man a lot of love!!!
I just had my munchkin two months ago and those first few weeks go by really quickly. Enjoy your time with him because he'll be big before you know it!
Thinking about you Jen!!! You could show us more photos of Rusty!!! Good luck and REST!!!
Take care of your self girl!! We are glad thought that you keep us updated!
Hugs to you and Rusty!!
As someone else said, 'Good things come to those who wait', but your little one will not! Take care of him and yourself, and we all love your service and sites and will be waiting patiently until you are ready!
Don't worry about the deadlines in the least! The new template will be done in it's own time. Rusty however needs you to rest right now. Enjoy this time with him because you'll never have it again! They grow very fast. Take lots of pictures and enjoy your family :-)
OMG Girl!
Sleep! Heal! We don't care about the sitezzzz...we want you healthy and enjoying your wee one and the devotion of a partner who's helping. Please, we'll always be here needing your time, but your family is first. So, enjoy the time off. Give yourself permission to tell us to Flake Off for a few weeks :)
I have an unexpected (but very positive) caesarian and needed a fair amount of down time. I got only a percentage of it, and didn't mentally or spiritually heal long enough to allow physicall healing to mend me the best way at first. So, trust me, you need the time off. I miss my son's first months so much and let work influence my time too much. It's the only thing I regret was not turning off the computer, putting down the laundry, and just stare at him for hours a day!
Do it - you'll never regret it :)
Take care of yourself!!!
Get lots of rest- and enjoy your little baby :)
No need to apologize to any of us. Who cares about work deadlines when you're talking about your health!? Take care of yourself and new family member.
