Okay, really this is a site feature and a brand new use for our sites. Little known fact: my sister is actually a model (Kind of funny, huh? A photographer and a model in the family). She has been modeling for me since she was about 5 years old and apparently it caught on. Check out her site and keep it in mind. We have come to a crossroads and we need your help. We have so many design ideas for new sites, and so many features we want to build in, and now we do not know what to do. We are currently working on the last template to launch this year and are unsure what our clients and potential clients would prefer after that. When the New Year comes around should we concentrate on building out more new sites first to get some variety in templates going faster, or should we concentrate on building in new features into the sites such as a shopping cart and stand-alone client proofing sites?

This week is a very exciting week for us. Jamie's gallery show opened (congrats Jamie!) and I find out today whether my husband Russ and I are having a girl or a boy in March!!

We Have our Sample Images

thank you to everybody who sent in their websites and samples to be used in Diego. We would like to thank Kristi for letting us use her images for our sample site. Stay tuned for screeshots displaying her beautiful children and family photography. :-)

Sample Photos

We feel that our Diego template will really highlight children's photography well. We are currently looking for 1 child photographer who would like to allow us to showcase his/her photography in our sample sites. If interested please email info@portfoliositez.com with a link to some samples of your work. We are especially interested in artistic and creative images. :-)

what we would need:
~ about 90-100 images that are at least 800 pixels tall


what you would get:
~ in exchange for the use of your images in our sample sites you would get a free premium service with the template of your choice for as long as we use your images (or a minimum of 1 year)
~ credit on the template and blog whenever we use the images


We would only be getting permission to showcase your work in our templates. We will not have permission to use your images for any other reason and you reserve all rights and copyrights over your images.

We have some exciting news for past and potential clients in the upcoming weeks, stay tuned!!

Our Holiday Schedule

I don't know about you guys but November 1st came fairly quickly this year and apparently, by all the catalogs in my mailbox, the holiday season has begun.

We have a couple of big announcements coming up but for now I want to give you all a heads up on our holiday schedule. We, like all of you, have a lot going on this season.

For Thanksgiving, Jen will be out of state visiting her husband's family for the week and I will be preparing my first Thanksgiving dinner for my entire family (wish me luck). What this means for you is that we will not be available to chat for the entire week from November 19th to the 23rd, but we will be answering emails and doing setups. Our responses may be a little delayed but we will try to get back to you as soon as we can. Bugs and things of that nature will not be resolved until November 26 and even this may get slightly delayed as it is Jen's birthday =).

For Christmas, Jen and I will be celebrating with our families and enjoying all of the festivities. Again we will be answering emails and doing setups but there maybe a delay in our responses. We will not be available to chat from December 24th to January 1st but you can expect big things on the horizon when we get back on January 2nd =).

We hope you all have a wonderful holiday season. Keep checking back with us because we will have a couple more holiday announcements in the near future.
